The Erasmus Center for Financial Training (ECFT) is the training center for financial professionals at the Rotterdam School of Economics in the Erasmus University of Rotterdam
The School has a strong reputation in producing excellent research in finance and economics, both theoretical and decision-oriented. It has a rich and long tradition as the oldest economics department in the Netherlands. Two of its professors, J. Tinbergen and T.C. Koopmans, received the Nobel Prize for their contributions.
Recent research output in both finance and economics has been qualified by external examiners as outstanding and of the highest practical relevance. This is reflected in a strong corporate interest in the research of the School. Faculty members are regularly invited by firms, banks, and other institutions to provide advice, to develop financial decision tools and to conduct applied research.
CERAM is located in the Sophia Antipolis technology park, near Nice in the South of France.
