Gérard Valin, Professor of Corporate Finance at CERAM, holds a Doctorate in comparative literature, in addition to a Doctorat d'Etat es Sciences de Gestion (Finances). He is a Judiciary Financial Expert for insurance matters, accredited by the Paris Court of Appeal, a graduate of HEC, and Expert Comptable (CPA), with a Masters degree in German Literature. Formerly in Associate practice with Deloitte, Dean of ESSEC Business School and Member of the Governing Body for the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles (CGE), COO for Life operation at Lazard (Generali), CEO of MACSF, MAVPS (Mutual insurance companies for health professionals), He joined the dedicated Faculty in 2003.
