We welcome applications from individuals who have a strong interest in developing their careers in finance. Among our applicants we look for strong individuals with high professional potential, diversity of backgrounds, and previous experiences.
We stress analytical skills, communication and leadership skills, motivation, maturity and creativity. We are looking for team players that can work in an international context.
All students must be proficient in English. Students must be able to follow lectures, express their thoughts in fluent spoken and written English, and read English with ease.
Candidates must have a strong level of understanding of mathematics (algebra & calculus) and statistics prior to entering the program. Basic quantitative computing skills such as competence in using spreadsheets are a must. A free, optional extra week of instruction in mathematics and statistics is offered at the beginning of the program.
To be considered as a candidate for the Executive Masters in Financial Management program, applicant must submit:
- A completed application form.
- Your GMAT® or GRE® score report (institution code is: "0798 Rotterdam School of Management").
- An official transcript and certified copy of your diploma from the university where you received your undergraduate or graduate degree.
- 2 letters of recommendation.
- Your TOEFL score report (institution code is: "0798 Rotterdam School of Management").
In case you have serious difficulties to find the time to register, prepare and schedule for the GMAT before our deadlines, and you are convinced that you are able to follow the program successfully, you can apply for a separate admissions procedure:
- Send you CV, GPA and any other materials that support your request.
- Based on this you can get an interview with the chair the admissions committee.
- The admissions committee will then make a joint decision.
Candidates whose native language is not English are required to take the TOEFL. Exceptions are made for those who have studied at English-language university or those have worked in an English-speaking environment for at least 2 years.
The deadline for early admission is the 30th of Novermber 2007. The final deadline is the 31st of January 2008.
